The #indieweb is about making your own words translate to actions, especially actions like writing, editing, and publishing your words (or photos or other media) on your personal site. The IndieWeb community is a place to help and empower good faith folks to do so as well. People making what they need and optionally collaborating to do so.

We do encourage folks to document, open source, and share what they make, so others may benefit. However there is a difference between an encouragement to share openly, and implying any commitment of support to others, or an invitation for demands.

No one is entitled to demand that folks in the community, or the community as a whole, do something specific for others, whether it is as small as publishing some content or open sourcing some code, or supporting someone else’s protocol proposal or call to action on a survey or political action.
Anyone that wants to do that sort of thing is welcome to do it on their own, independently, or form their own affinity groups to do so.
We actually encourage the opposite of such demands, we encourage people to take breaks when they need to take care of more important life things:

I prepped the chat, I set the scene,
Then Life showed up and killed the stream!
Forgive me, squad, I must go deal,
I'm super sorry, the chaos is real! -

I told her I love her and all she could say back was "whatever." It's crazy how someone can pour their heart out into a whole paragraph, just to get hit with a cold, one-word reply that completely shuts things down. Even though this didn't happen to me personally, it's a scenario that makes you just have to laugh at the unexpected reaction and think about how wild the dating world can be. Has anyone else ever been hit with a response that left you completely speechless, or seen a friend take that hit? Let me hear your thoughts in the replies. #Heartbreak #RealTalk #Relationships #Whatever #LifeHappens #DatingScenarios

Chú rể bất ngờ trả lại phong bì mừng cưới cho bạn thân ngay giữa tiệc khiến nhiều khách mời ngỡ ngàng, có người không hiểu, có người tỏ thái độ khó chịu.

Handling my brother’s affairs has been nonstop adventure — today’s: sheds. Tried every key, then tried hammer diplomacy (spoiler: ineffective). Put the hammer away and found the key holder tucked out of sight. Turns out, subtle problem-solving works better than blunt-force therapy.

Oooh those reports, so colorful. But seeing a colours in reports has at least one benefit - there is a slightly lower chance someone is deliberately lying to you and even red should not be a disaster but a starting point of a discussion how to make the things better.

This is a completely unnecessary and random factoid, but @fedora has declared GO (RTM) on Fedora Linux 39 Beta exactly 23 years after the release of Windows Millennium Edition. Thanks @adamw! 🤪

@f_dion @ericsedge I would propose #GTD, or #TimeManagement, or #LifeHappens. 🙃

Browsing and moderating my YouTube subscriptions today. Some I subscribed to more than 15 yrs ago
Many had major subject & topic changes over the years. Some surprised me & I see why I get certain suggestions across #Google products and #search results now
If you haven't checked what topics your old YouTube subscriptions are up to, might be a good idea
Some went polar opposite of why I originally followed them or my interests.
