Lidarr is great for adding music to your collection but I never had much luck with Lidarr.

Już od jakiegoś czasu streamuje sobie muzykę z mojego domowego serwerka zamiast korzystać ze spotifajów i innych takich. Szukając rozwiązań jak poszerzyć moją bibliotekę muzyczną trafiłem info, że najlepiej się sprawdza Lidarr + slskd + soularr. I bogowie to nie był dobry pomysł żeby to stawiać jako osoba początkująca w selfhostingu :D nie wiedziałem jak w ogóle działają te serwisy i przede wszystkim nie umiałem ich pospinać w dockerze. Ale po paru dniach walki udało się to zaprząc do działania i jestem z tego powodu cholernie dumny. Przy okazji nauczyłem się sporo o dockerze i paru innych rzeczach. #selfhosting #HomeServer #lidarr

Finally slopped myself up a script to sanitize the tags on my Lidarr music, then run it through MP3Gain to normalize the volume (modifying the actual file, not just ReplayGain tags) before importing into Plex.

Leaned on the AI a fair bit because I'm an idiot. Got sick of it hallucinating Beets & MP3Gain command line options that don't exist.

Then after it blew away my music library and I had to pull a backup, I finally bucked up and went to the docs for once, and manually config'ed the main parts.

Then I told the AI to go fuck itself.

I have never cared much for #music #streaming services. Most my music listening is of independent productions sent as promos, or bootlegs, or is unreleased. All I want is to be able to stream my recent mp3 imports to my phone, rate them + leave notes on the go so that I can come home and add them to my DJ library. Tách container Docker: nên hay không nên? Khi thêm Jellyfin vào hệ thống self-host (Navidrome, Lidarr, qBittorrent...), việc tách container giúp dễ xử lý lỗi, bảo trì riêng lẻ từng dịch vụ. Pois finalmente conseguino. Un servidor NAS con Navidrome + Lidarr + Prowlarr + Soularr + slskd, que me descarga automaticamente a música dos artistas que lle pido sacando os metadatos de MusicBrainz, buscando nos torrents e en SoulSeek, e que me deixa escoitalo tanto por web como por app.

Levoume unha semana configurar todo isto e facer debugging, pero por fin está funcionando como é debido. Adeus a Spotify, non o acharei de menos

Pois finalmente conseguino. Un servidor NAS con Navidrome + Lidarr + Prowlarr + Soularr + slskd, que me descarga automaticamente a música dos artistas que lle pido sacando os metadatos de MusicBrainz, buscando nos torrents e en SoulSeek, e que me deixa escoitalo tanto por web como por app.

Ever since moving from #Plex to #Jellyfin months ago, I've also moved from #Overseerr to #Jellyseerr. I'm looking to deploy #Lidarr at some point, so it's nice to see that Jellyseerr already has a PR ready to incorporate Lidarr support - Overseerr had one too previously, but it's unfortunately been scrapped.

Works great (way better than torrents) with self-hosted UseNet apps like SABnzbd, along with Prowlarr, Sonarr, and Radarr.

i still just settled for downloading stuff through soulseek/usenet and having beets tag it manually. i set up a config file that renames stuff just like lidarr's default did (which i liked) and it's been working for me.

directory: /wings/music/
library: /wings/music/library.db
paths:
  default: $albumartist/$album ($year)/%if{$isMultidisc,$media $disc/}$artist - $album - $track - $title

produces files like:

/wings/music/Nine Inch Nails/The Downward Spiral (1994)/CD 01/Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral - 05 - Closer.flac

the %if statement is probably wrong and i should fix it since it's generating those folders for all the files. but honestly fuck it, it's working lmao

#lidarr has this wierd issue where unless i use `lidarr:musicbrainid` it will not find things, must be an issue on lidarr's side because ive tried everything.

At least i can add things via musicbrainid

Fixed the import path now its working again.

Root folder now points to my SAN music share so its indexing the entire 800GB library rn

For you music library folks, how is something being "higher quality" determined exactly?
I sure hope it's not purely looking at file size or codec/bitrate.

One other huge factor I consider is how the song is mastered/mixed.
Can it compare the waveform and spectrogram of a track and see if it has been loudness-warred / peaked-out / dynamic range crushed?
Can it show that stuff to you or does it do that or does it not do ANY of that?
