Olemme folkcorea, symphonic metalcorea ym. soittava indiebändi Savonlinnasta. Julkaisemme biisit #CreativeCommons Attribution -lisenssillä ja ne voi ladata korkealaatuisina ilmaiseksi ja DRM-vapaasti Bandcampista tai Internet Archivesta (linkit profiilissa). Biisit löytyvät myös useimmista suosituista kaupallisista striimauspalveluista, missä ne eivät välttämättä ole korkealaatuisia, ilmaisia tai DRM-vapaita.

Musiikissamme voit kuulla vaikutteita mm. näiltä artisteilta: Kalafina, Moonsorrow, Stam1na, Converge, Neurotech, Periphery ja Maximum The Hormone. Voitimme hiljattain Itä-Savon Kellaribiisit 2023 -kilpailun biisillä Maadu.

All music should be #ccmusic (or #libremusic?). everything is a remix and in the age of the net and rising decentralization, we should focus on human recommendations and sharing and direct support vs corporate algorithms and middleman profits.

but I don't understand music labels today. thus #netlabelday is confusing to me. I see labels evolving into online radio stations, with DJs who love that genre of music, set of artists or local scene. and #funkwhale should be a decentralized #Bandcamp.

I need to spend more time listening to my own radio station instead of podcasts and articles. It gives my brain a rest. #libremusic

I play #libremusic on my stream and show, mostly from Bandcamp. Almost all of it recommended by http://rynothebearded.com. I'll agree we seem to lack a great way to find quality new artists these days, but making it based around financial relationships isn't it imo.

I want to advocate as hard for #libremusic as I do for the #fediverse. I'll probably be just as successful. But they are part of the same movement to me, where the people are fully in control of what gets attention. Experts are fine, but they must be chosen by us. Not money etc.
