turning on my tv and having to wait like a full minute or so to adjust the volume...oh, it's time to get a #RaspberryPi and make my own little media thing

Máme doma jen projektor, telku vůbec nevedeme. Vyhovuje nám kombinace #Kodi přes #rpi s #LibreELEC (a koukám, že tam je plugin i na ten SteamLink) a obsah streamujeme přes #Emby

Android TV pro mě není jednoduše proto, že to je další uzavřený crap, který nebude mít security podporu. Počítám, že tam některý věci budou jednodušší, ale naštěstí nevím, že mi chybí :)

Scheize my #rpi running on #libreelec isn’t capable anymore to maintain a stable wifi connection with my router. I don’t understand why, but the raspberry is useless at this point.
I Hope it’s not a hardware issue after less than 1 year of usage..

I don't suppose there are any #LibreElec users on here who have had success getting the Hauppauge WinTV Nova S2 USB satellite tuner working? Specifically revision BBH9 with a USB ID of 2013:0264 - apparently also known as PCTV Systems PCTV 461

As I understand it this is a new chipset so the existing Linux support for a service of the same name doesn't work, but the firmware has been released and may even now be in upstream Linux kernels.

@kreideland ich glaube #kodi oder #libreelec kann man mit einer APP steuern, ich denke für #proxmox ist der rpi eher nicht so geeignet. Aber ausprobieren kann man ja mal

Über Sat. Ein SAT>IP-Konverter empfängt bis zu 4 Programme gleichzeiitg, sendet diese übers Netzwerk an einen kleinen Heim-Server mit #tvheadend. Am (dummen) Fernseher hängt ein Raspberry-Pi mit #Libreelec und #Kodi.

Klingt kompliziert, aber so brauche ich keine weiteren Receiver, habe eine Bedienoberfläche, kann problemlos zentral Sendungen aufzeichnen und. wiedergeben. Timeshift geht auch.
Ein CI-Modul könnte man auch zentral am Sever anschliessen.
