“Five dimensional chess…” they said. “It’ll never happen!” moaned #elbowsup Liberal voters who conned our #NDP votes in the last election under the guise of “strategic voting”.

Despite all the gaslighting, many of us in #BC knew this unneeded pipeline would be forced upon our Province against our will yet again by ANOTHER Liberal Government, despite Carney gleefully stealing our votes to prop up his make believe “majority government”.

I voted against #PierrePoilievre because he was threatening to do exactly what Mark Carney is doing now. Our #elbowsup votes were used against us, not Trump, as Carney grifted.

Mark Carney has taught me a valuable lesson though. Never again will I vote strategically, and never again will I vote #Liberal. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Two dirty bitumen pipelines in 2 decades running roughshod over British Columbians, First Nations and our longstanding environmental regulations.

#MarkCarney has hung an dead albatross around this Liberal Party’s neck. They will now reek of oil and federal overreach for decades to come.

Shame on #Carney and all of his sycophantic supporters who have abandoned the left, First Nations, and British Columbia; all in pursuit of oil money and appeasing a separatist traitor.

This overkill pipeline will be the most costly pipeline ever built in Canada. It’s environmental costs will be socialized in BC and it’s measly gains privitized in separatist #Alberta.

It will be shoved without environmental assessment through forest fire prone areas and pristine ecosystems, destroying our species at risk.

Whoever builds it will need to pay for round the clock security everyday to defend it, just as they needed with #TMX. The price, both environmental and financial will be through the roof.

Eventually Canadians (who said this would never happen) will foot the bill for this open pollution of our once beautiful Westcoast; removing our tanker protections, destroying our species at risk, endangering community livelihoods and coastal industries through decades of future pollution in the Strait.

Shame on Carney (you are no unifier), and shame on this Liberal Government. You stand for nothing but austerity, big money and big oil and true Canadians see it.

Video – Still focused on the late Chuck Norris, his 1985 action movie Invasion U.S.A. was not merely made to entertain moviegoers with lots of explosions, dangerous stunts and hard action. It was during the 1980s when I saw anime productions from the 1970s and the newest ones of the decade. To name some, I saw the 1980s Astro Boy series, Galaxy Express 999, Captain Future, Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Voltes V, Daimos, Mazinger Z and others. While such old anime productions proved to be entertaining, there are still some people out there who bashed them because those productions (and their stories) did not align with their modern day woke agenda. The popular geek entertainment portal CBR published lots of articles saying that the old anime productions did not age well and a lot of readers and netizens followed suit. #7 Ashleigh Burton’s Reaction To Witness – The 1980s will always be a memorable decade of Harrison Ford’s cinematic performances. During that decade, he appeared in two Star Wars movies and he was the center of attraction in the original Indiana Jones trilogy. Along the way, he appeared in the 1985 crime thriller film Witness in which he played a police detective protecting an Amish woman and her son. The movie earned several Academy Award nominations including Best Picture and even Best Actor for Harrison Ford. If that’s the framework, then the outcome of any social mobility is predictable. As this #podcast demonstrates, the same upper- and middle-class (and, yes, affluent, #liberal London-centric) ideas and assumptions will continue to dominate. There’ll just be a few more (ideally #Oxbridge- and Russell Group-educated) working-class people from the regions involved in creating, disseminating and benefiting from them, as this podcast also demonstrates – although there’ll never be enough of them to make things anywhere near equal.

There’s also something pernicious about the claim here that changes in social mobility are not brought about because of political decisions so much as driven by #war and changes in #technology – #AI being just the latest.

If #progressive, #leftist, or #liberal #Democrats want to make the coming flood of racist gerrymanders in the south backfire, they'd do well to study the betrayed and rageful ex-MAGA rhetoric in #CultCollege "Pink Phone" videos (where she shows how long-time and now-former #MAGA cultists are turning against Trump and his supporters).

Southern Democrats will need rhetoric taking that of Sanders, Talarico, and Platner a bit farther while advocating substantively similar policies in practical blue-collar language. They'll need more firefighters and retired military and working-class roots, even if some candidates have post-secondary education they got later. Where they run candidates of color, they'll need to address racial tensions more like Deeyah Khan or Daryl Davis than like Nina Turner.

DSA- or WFP-aligned Democrats will need to convincingly perform belief that most or all ex-MAGA had believed Trump's and his enablers lies: that it was about making housing and such more affordable (not making everything more expensive), about rooting out corruption (not becoming the most corrupt government in US history), about staying out of needless foreign wars (not starting a stupid and pointless war with Iran), about deporting cartel gangsters (not innocent nannies and gardeners), and about investigating and prosecuting #Epstein perpetrators (not protecting them).

They'll need to never say "white people" when they mean "white supremacy" or "white supremacists." They'll need to never say "men" when they mean "misogyny" or "misogynists." They'll need to never say "You were stupid" when they could say "They lied to us." They'll need to never say "It's all your fault" when they could say "Yeah, the same filthy rich liars telling me to blame it all on you are telling you to blame it all on me, when it's really always been them robbing us all along."

(Yes, racism and sexism were actually part of the motivation for many MAGA formers, but it's not effective in the months remaining before the midterm to tell them what they're not yet ready to hear. Bigotry is not unlearned through scolding: only through direct positive experience of the target, proving bigoted beliefs false. The first time it's effective for their racism or sexism to be acknowledged as such, in a context where they can hear or read it, is in first-person past tense. As for maintaining the urban vote the Democrats already had: anti-racists and feminists can use dog whistles too.)
