Once again, #LGTV has gone too far. This wasn't a thing when I grew up. No TV identified as this made up bullshit like an AI-Driven Advertisement Aggregator™️ or Sentient Surveillance Solution™️.

It was simple. TVs had tubes or they didn't. Just like the maker intended.

I'm suspecting that it's them WiFi waves that are the source of these mental illnesses. If my TV asks for the password I say firmly NO. It works for now but might not be enough in the future.

We need to do something.

My 12 year old LG (not smart) TV is having issues. When turning on, the top corner lights up telling me what connection (example cable or DVD player) is being made as usual. But then the screen then goes and stays black. The sounds works if applicable. I've tried several hacks on line with no luck yet. Seems like all the new TVs are smart TVs.
