An out-take from today's shoot with Jessie Ngaio for her hero image for her Melbourne Fringe show. Taken out in Harcourt where there was a bushfire not long ago in Victoria.
Image description: Bare white feet stand on charcoal covered granite rock. Light is glowing on the feet. Halfway up the shins is draped a cream coloured garment. Beyond the figure are blurred burnt out blackened trees.

Happy Photography Friday friends.
A couple of weeks ago I was hired to photograph the play "The Last Sunday in June", which played at Chapel Off Chapel, in Prahran (Naarm).
Some really strong performances, so it meant a great deal to me to be able to take images that shone a light on gay life and superb acting.
I am for hire, you can contact me at [email protected] and check out my work at http://tlwvision.au for a small portfolio of what I have done. Does not have to be LGBTQIASB+ related, but I am interested in working with more trans people /organisations and more people with disabilities, as I am of both those worlds.

Well I'm super buzzing, over stimmed, and exhausted as a result. Home now and ready for a nap. Before I left MCEC I picked up two new pins for myself, and a new boardgame (Herd Mentality) for the apartment to play with friends. (well, for us to play, in the apartment. The apartment itself, to my knowledge, does not have friends). 😍

Tomorrow I'm going to put my brave boy pants on and meet the greatest bisexual hero of all time - White Canary aka Sarah Lance aka Caity Lotz!!! 😍
I'm so freakin hyped! Gonna get her to sign my White Canary Funko Pop that I had Ava Sharpe aka Jes Macallan sign pre-lockdowns/covid. 💞💞💞
Happy Pride Month!
IMDb bio for Caity Lotz https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2362068/

My new favourite pin 😍
I'm thinking of making the t-shirt design I thought up decades ago that had a baseball bat and writing over the top saying "faggots bash back"...

Yesterday was so epic. Michael and I volunteered at Club Cindy for the gayly Liberal pinkwashing Mardi Gras organisation last night.
I've been volunteering on & occasionally off for MG for over 10yrs, been going for about 25 years and the level of corporate kowtowing that they've now reached is mega.
I know they have to work with World Pride this year, but the greed is gross and working in a ticketed viewing area really highlighted that.
They've made deliberate choices to remove themselves a long way from the 78'ers marching for our freedoms.
Having said THAT I also saw people in my section crying as they took in the sights ofseeing mass crowds seeing us and championing the whole queer community, and had many wonderful conversations and connections with people from all over the world.
I feel good volunteering to make someone else's night special and proud to do my job well, especially living with invisible disabilities.
Walking at the end of the parade with all of my fellow volunteers and receiving screams of joy and thousands of thank yous is always uplifting, not for the adulation, but for the acknowledgement that we made your night/festival a bloody good one. That is why I work for and volunteer for as many queer events as I do.
Once again, thank you 78'ers. I recognise my freedoms and privileges.
I also recognise my privilege as a white trans man partying on the lands of the Gadigal people. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

Yesterday in my Sydney art gallery exploring I did close to 22,000 steps.
The highlight was always going to be Bloodlines by The Huxleys at Carriageworks and it truly did not disappoint. They are masters of their craft.#art #LGBTQIASB #mobilePhotography #WorldPride2023
