Fit(ish) in my 50s. Managed to avoid the rain but not the stiff breeze which buffeted me north, south, east and west. Practically running on the spot uphill at maximum exertion in some places. Moderate 146m / 480ft elevation gain 10km in mild 11C / 52F. Felt colder in 30mph winds though. But as always, never disappointing and always finish with a smile … because you never know when it might be your last!

Queer Out Here is an audio zine that explores the outdoors from queer perspectives. We bring together stories and soundscapes from around the world to hear how queerness might intersect with and influence people’s experiences of the outdoors.
If you are Indigenous, Black and/or a Person of Colour and would like assistance with any part of the creative or technical process of producing an audio piece for Queer Out Here, please get in touch.
