Today I replaced four old timey 1960s light switches and upgraded the outlet in the main bathroom to GFCI.
I did it in under an hour which included hunting for tools, and cleanup. #NotAnAd, but the Leviton lever edge stuff makes it so much easier/faster.
Kind of annoying how Home Depot has exclusive distribution w/ them, though.

Got most of the switches throughout the house converted or upgraded to Matter. Went with #Leviton because our mechanical paddle switches already are and the aesthetics match, but damn if they aren’t big. Even with slim wire levers I had to get creative in packing all the wires behind and all around the switches in a 3 gang box.
I sent them feedback. If companies and cram all those smarts and antennas into a watch, they can make slimmer switches.

I just got an electrical panel replaced. Long story... But I chose a #leviton load center.
yay! Works. But the app and web interface only show wattage usage per day, daily, weekly and year. It doesn't show hourly, it doesn't show multiple year. -

Feeling quite satisfied with my first genuine effort at a Structured Media Center. :blobfoxdealwithit:
This gear turns 1 fiber run from the house into 4x gigabit PoE+ Ethernet runs in the garage, suitable for WiFi access points, cameras, etc.
This project has been a great excuse to learn fiber optic networking. Many thanks to Tom at https://www.lanshack.com/ who validated my design and sold me a pre-terminated fiber for the main run!
