Okay, something different.
Years ago I fell over this band while listening to Thistle Radio on Soma FM. I've loved Celtic folk for as long as I can remember but, when this band came up, I didn't get it. At least not at first. It was obvious they weren't singing in Irish or Gaelic, but rather in French. By the second verse, I was hooked. I had to find out who these guys are, and that's when I learned about Quebecois trad music.
And in the space of a song, I went from "who are these guys?" to "I must listen to everything they've ever recorded." And... I think I have? If not, I've come very close. Here's a recent live performance of a tune off their latest album.
My friends... Le Vent du Nord.

Looking for pics it’s looks like a Sag’neWhich seems to be a Quebecois brand made by Marcel Désgagné?
(Old 2016 forum post. I don’t see anything about them currently being made)

I really didn't know what to expect from an improv collab between Le Vent du Nord, Ashley MacIsaac, and Cha Wa, but holy hell I'm blown away.
