  1. Portsmouth's progress in tacking air quality as showing some promising signs in the worse areas but painfully slow for the city overall. ... Without a credible plan, it is hard to see the council is in legal compliance. #LetPompeyBreathe greenpompey.org.uk/let-pompey-

  2. Several UK cities have introduced a #CleanAirZone. Cities with a CAZ fared slightly better in the 2021-2023 period (11% drop ) than those without (5% drop, excluding Sheffield as data not available). Apologies for the small sample sizes, so this analysis should be taken with a grain of salt. #AirPollution #LetPompeyBreathe greenpompey.org.uk/let-pompey-

  3. Provisional data provided by #Portsmouth City Council has shown that pollution levels last year have slightly dropped to 2020 levels. 4. Two annual reports detailing #AirQuality in #Portsmouth landed on my desk for 2021 and 2022. Why the council could not provide this under my pending FOI is still a mystery. greenpompey.org.uk/let-pompey- #LetPompeyBreathe

  5. CW: Portsmouth Clean Air Zone

The #CleanAirZone in #Portsmouth is approaching its one year anniversary. I am told by local councillors that the air quality department (JAQU) in central government (DEFRA) is going to request the air quality data from Portsmouth City Council and they will compile a report on the impact of the #CAZ. This is expected around Feb 2023. #AirQuality #LetPompeyBreathe
