Der Kobboi träumt bei einer Tasse Kaffee und einem Croissant von Paris. Montmartre, Sacré Coeur, l’Arc de Triomphe, Champs Élysées. Dabei weiss er genau, dass er sich in den Menschenmassen überhaupt nicht wohlfühlen würde. Aber der Kaffee heute ist besonders gut.

I think that's one of the things about the tour. You spend several hours watching some beautiful helicopter footage of picturesque french mountains and then a guy nearly dies (but hopefully does not actually die) and then some guy does climbs to a finish line through hair pins and hooligans. #letour

The way my heart was in my throat that second crash for Sepp Kuss. One metre further up the road and he would have died fucking hell. Saved by the road side netting in the mountains.

Das Wetter für die heutige Etappe sieht sehr gut aus. Gleich geht's los. Die Vorfreude auf das Spektakel im TV ist groß.

Die Gaststube ist für das Mittagessen ausgebucht. Das Regenwetter ist schon da und wird bleiben. Die Insel zeigt sich von ihrer besten Seite. Zum Aperitif trinkt der Kobboi einen warmen Tee.
Und ja, die Kette des Fahrrades ist immer noch geölt und nicht gewachst.

Badender Aquarell Graphic Novel ArtworkErinnerungen, in Chambery waren Katharina Vasces und der Kobboi ja schon selber mit dem Rad unterwegs, der Geruch, die Hitze, das Essen immer noch in bester Erinnerung.
Das Meer ist heute so ruhig und perfekt zum Baden. Katharina Vasces ist schon aus dem Bild geschwommen. Der Kobboi läuft Gefahr, mit einer Boje verwechselt zu werden.

Der Kobboi war heute nur kurz auf dem Rad. Katharina Vasces braucht ja zu ihrer Sicherheit einen hervorragenden Schwimmer beim Baden im Meer, oder umgekehrt. Der Nieselregen sorgt für eine angenehme Erfrischung.
Die Uhr in der Gaststube beim Leuchtturm ist stehen geblieben.

– Gâteau au Yaourt– Zum Kaffee gibt es heute ausnahmsweise ein Glas Evian.

I also wonder if he thought it may have been disrespectful to go for the win on the stage where his main rival JV had crashed out.

It’s not interesting to me when the Yellow Jersey is claimed by the same winner of the last 2 years (and 4 of the last 6 years) within the first few days of the #tourdefrance -- Short of a miracle (or a _bad_ accident)… the Tour feels effectively over already.

Just realised I haven't watched a minute of #LeTour this year, live, highlights or otherwise, despite being all set up to do so. Nor have I even read what's going on beyond seeing the headlines. Not really sure why, but I guess Pog had already done what he does by the time I was free to tune in, and so perhaps finally just a bit bored of it? #tdf2026
