  2. What the Modi Government did to #kashmir isn't just the communication blackout and lockdown. Let's not restrict it to that please.

It is against the federal structure that we follow. It's against democracy. It's against the constitution. It's against humanity. It's torturously brutal. The silence is just what is visible. What hides behind the silence is very inhuman.

Think about it. Speak about it. Ask questions.

  3. Can it be more ridiculous?
First deprive people of a basic human right, the internet, and then make them suffer, screw their livelihood, and then look generous and give them internet as if you're giving them life, only with ridiculous terms and conditions. Freedom with Bonds is what the goverment is making out of #kashmir

  8. “This is not normal. The government of India has created a false impression of the situation. Things are far from normal and the impression which is sought to be created by the government that things are normal is a false impression.”

  9. Siddharth Varadarajan, the founding editor of @thewire exposes the blatant lies of Amit Shah to the parliament about the illegal arrest of Farooq Abdullah. 10. @AdvManoj and every possible distraction is pushed ahead of Kashmir. I wonder what it must be there. #kashmiri people are very resilient but from those who I have met or spoken to recently I gather that they are broken this time. They don't even speak to each other. Constant fear. No reporting. No voice. Military tortures continue. I wonder what would hurt them more, the atrocities or our silence.
