I have the absolute delight of introducing it to my g/f, so I've been rewatching S1/S2 with her while still watching S3.
The absolute *care* with which they are treating the writing has me. The acting is just amazing. The way they're using every available element to make this story effective, to make it work as an extension of the existing text, just... wow.

Think I might need to stop watching this show for my Own Good.

Episode 3 of Lestat hit me so hard, I'm gonna need to take a little break from the show until I feel recovered enough to continue.
I knew what was coming. I've read the books. But damn, seeing it on screen was just so rough. Brilliantly done, but so hard to watch.
