A couple of days ago cleaning a cupboard I found a shallow dish or plate bearing the inscription "Welsh Presbyterian Chapel, Fitzclarence Street. 1864". Image in next toot.
I visited the site of the chapel last July. It was where my grandparents met and they married there. Destroyed in the blitz during WW2.
This is a rare surviving artefact.
