In vielen Diskussionen mit ML'ern kommt über kurz oder lang, besonders wenns um #Anarchismus geht, dieses kleine Buch hier zur Sprache.
Jetzt hab ichs mir tatsächlich angetan und hab ein paar halbgare Gedanken dazu:
Ich war ja tatsächlich gespannt darauf, was #Lenin dem, flapsig formuliert, "#Revolution, #Staat abschaffen und dann wirds schon" der Anarchisten entgegensetzt. Denselben kritikablen Automatismus findet sich aber genauso in seinem "Diktatur des Proletariats und dann wirds schon".
Mal davon abgesehen, dass alle konkreten Formen der DdP (allgemeine Volksbewaffnung statt Polizei und Militär, jederzeitige Abwählbarkeit von Beamten, deren Bezahlung zum "Arbeiterlohn", etc) an der Realität nach 1917 blamiert werden:
Die (Staats)-Gewalt sei notwendig um den Kapitalisten die Produktionsmittel zu entreißen und dem Proletariat (und den Bauern, weil damals der noch größere Anteil der Gesellschaft) komme diese historische Aufgabe zu, weil nur so, über die Ergreifung der politischen Herrschaft, der Weg für den Übergang in die kommunistische Gesellschaft zu ebnen sei.
Diese Zwangsläufigkeit und dieses "Manifest Destiny" des Proletariats ist sehr wichtig für Lenin. So wichtig, dass er die realen Gründe der Leute, weswegen sie vielleicht mal auf den Gedanken gekommen sind, das Kommunismus, ne gute Sache ist, außen vor lässt.
Die Verbesserung der schlechten Verhältnisse in die die Leute geworfen sind, da kommts gar nicht drauf an. Da reicht für Lenin die mit Gewalt hergestellte ökonomische Grundlage (bei ihm Verstaatlichung) und "dann wirds schon". Und die Gewalt brauchts halt auch, solange sich die Leute, in seinen Worten, noch nicht "dran gewöhnt haben".
Das ist halt Resultat aus dem historischen Materialismus (auch von Seiten Marx), diese lineare, gesetzmäßige Geschichtsauffassung abstrahiert von allen Inhalten und beurteilt nur, ob es ein Voranschreiten in der Geschichte gibt. Und damit hast du die Rechtfertigung für jede Schweinerei und jedes Opfer, das in dessen Namen gebracht werden muss.

I sure do hope you will not end up perfecting your own state machinery instead of shattering it to pieces though, that would be awkward. Good quote though.

To be fair, #Lenin became a lot less anti-imperialist soon after gaining control of the empire he was opposing before 1917, but as long as you take what 20th century Marxists said at face value, this post presents an ironclad argument why it's time for serious leftists in the U.S. to start seriously supporting #Ukraine.
