Meine Frau hatte Spaß mit einem Friends-Set. Wir haben uns mit der Villa beschäftigt und sind aktuell dabei das Set ein wenig spaciger zu gestalten. So dass es eben in die Stadt hinein passt.

Today's been weird. I had to lose some sleep (about 3hrs, so I'm heading to bed soon), as we had to have a plumber deal with outside piping from the kitchen.

All day, I've been in high pain and shattered, but not enough to sleep. Then wifey came back with NJ and needed a nap.

So NJ built #legofriends while watching Pokémon on the floor and I watched it too because her brain was firing off every 0.3 seconds (good mood, though).

I'm alive but somewhat feeling swamped.

Need escapism, I think.

My after work trip to the #LEGO Store to check out the PAB wall got nixed after leaving an bit later and then encountering a issue with the subway. So, I detoured to a store that carries LEGO and has deals on retiring/retired sets. Three retired sets and a free "Year of the Horse" gift with purchase over $80.

There, that is better. The #LEGO 42652 Friendship Tree House Hangout is my first set with all, except for one, paper bags. Not a fan. I like opening my set and checking out the contents of the set, long before I get around to assembly.

So, I transferred everything into ziplock baggies. Another downside of the paper bags is you have to be extra careful to make sure you've gotten everything out. Especially the smaller internal paper bags. With the plastic bags, you can just hold them up to a light to see anything left behind.

2x Points at #LEGO, so headed to the LEGO Store after work. Also grabbed four large PAB boxes.

Another cool GWP diorama. I really like the little dioramas they've been having.

Always nice to get home for a visit. I've started taking a bigger suitcase for the trips to bring back any #LEGO finds I stumble upon.

A great deal at Costco for the LEGO 10345 Botanicals Flower Arrangement, 33% off

And found a few retired Friends sets at a pharmacy.

Still a few things left behind at my parents', to bring back the next visit.

Headed to the #LEGO Store at the Fairview Mall the other night to check out the Pick-A-Brick wall to see what was new. While there, I noticed the must have GWP at the cash, the 40762 Mixed Flowerpot. Really wish this was a regular item.

After filling three large PAB boxes, with mostly green and brown plates, I looked for something else to push me to the GWP threshold.

I wanted to stick to a 2024 set, but I finally settled on the new 42669 Beekeepers' House and Flower Garden that has a really nice garden.

I realized that I hadn't gotten myself to a Toys R Us or Walmart in a while to check out the #LEGO polybag selection before the latest ones disappear.

So, yesterday after work made a one hour detour and picked up ten different sets and assembled them last night.
