Might have been running Runeterra again for about a week or so because a new runner showed up and beat all my former World Records that were played on the normal animation speed.
For about a year now you've been able to change the animation speed, making it up to 4 times as fast, but no one actually ran the game again up til now. I did two runs on 4x animation speed half a year ago, but got bored because there was no one to compete against. I was also not going to split the boards into animation speed categories - there aren't enough runners for that, so I just beat the faster times again now.

Shoutout to my dear friend ktc who reminded me to check if I had Runeterra installed on my SSD. I've been unknowingly handicapping myself due to running on the wrong hardware. 🥴

Of course I had to take a look at Riftbound because I've been playing League since 2011 and I'm a big fan of card games - which is why I loved Legends of Runeterra.

Now, I thought the footage I had seen so far was old, or showing off prototypes, but Riot is really just recycling Runeterra cards, Arcane stills and League splash arts for Riftbound.

That's genuinely disappointing. Most of them are literally just Runeterra cards, which is the game they've basically killed.

I'm a mix of sad, frustrated and.. well, not super surprised. It doesn't feel good.

A few thoughts on patch 5.04 of #LegendsOfRuneterra:

- Yes, I *noticed* you removed 28 out of 41 Challenges, oof. I still wanted to run those.
- Oh no, Lillia cute! And the Sleep mechanic is also not half bad.
- My game keeps crashing.
- Sad there's no event pass, but cool they're giving away stuff for free. It just isn't *much*.

Finally beat The Frost Witch in Path of Champions. Funnily enough in bed, on my phone, at 3 AM. Lol.

It took me over half an hour and I definitely need to improve this before I can even think about submitting a run to the boards.
Unfortunately (but unsurprisingly) it's heavy RNG. #LegendsOfRuneterra #PathOfChampions

I wonder what the fate of Ranked queues will be when they cease updating the PvP content in #LegendsOfRuneterra…

Will they keep alternating which one is open, open up both, or just completely remove ranking…?

#DenoDeploy is freaking amazing. It's the closest I've ever gotten to push and forget. I usually like to #SelfHost, but for this project I didn't want to bother with all that.

Deno will be on the top of the list for whenever I want to work on a side project. (Now just need to think how I can champion for it at work...)
