One of the PCs in my l5r game is about to take All Arts Are One so that she, as a year 1400ish samurai, can intuit how to fly a Cessna, so they can shorten a large leg of their trip, having run into the Shinjo Air & Space Museum out in the middle of nowhere, after a reality quake dropped it there.

#Shogun seems pretty awesome. Except for the fact that English is used for both English and Portuguese, but that's not a deal breaker.

If I had a nickel for each time a PC in my L5R campaigns has done magic at the extremely spooky and intensely magical forest and accidentally patched their soul into an ancient hive mind/group consciousness, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

I wish #BattleTech would have been more like #L5R #LegendOfTheFiveRings, where the outcomes of its history were decided by the players. They missed an opportunity here with the #MechWarrior Dark Ages clicky game. Let the fandom vote on outcomes via tournaments or even just voting.
Static lore and history make for dull games, in my opinion. What If and living history games are far more exciting. There are no known or expected outcomes. It unfolds at the table. #TTRPG #RPG
