Earlier this year, we had Final Fantasy games on GOG for the first time. Then we got SaGa games on GOG for the first time. And now here comes a third classic Squaresoft franchise going DRM-free.

A couple days ago, GOG announced that they're now selling Mana series games. Specifically, Legend of Mana (a remastered version of the PS1 game) and Trials of Mana (a 3D remake of Seiken Densetsu 3, the sequel to Secret of Mana that was Japan-only for many years).

I decided to play a bit of #LegendOfMana on PS4, managed to squeak by a lap of Ring Ring Land, and tried to return to see if my pet would level up.

Only something had gotten out of sync with my pet and it was already on that save.

Luckily I had further saves on online storage that I was able to overwrite everything with to get it back in sync, but having it basically locked like that totally freaked me out. I have no idea how it happened. It does prove the game isn't quite as lazy as the original, though. Pretty sure the original would have just downloaded it without question.

I got a bunch of notifications from #Playstation that games X,Y,Z are now on sale. I'm thinking about getting #ChronoCross for 10€ as I never played it before. From my list #AtelierRyza3 is still overpriced for a digital sale (horrible price physical), #DioFieldChronicle is 30€ (meh), #SecretOfMana and #LegendOfMana is 50%, #WeAreOFK and #ASpaceForTheUnbound have very good price, #ScarsAbove hits the sales again but I'm not convinced. I need to go to bed 😅 #Videogames
