#LegendOfFei thoughts eight episodes in, not very deep or original:

- I'm really enjoying Wang Yibo's performance here!
- A'Fei and Xie Yun are so adorable and funny together, it's wonderful
- I'm currently shipping A'Fei and Chuchu, however, and so is everyone who meets them in the story
- I feel personally victimised by (a) how hot Geng Le is in both this show and The Long Ballad; (b) how few photos there are on MyDramaList to demonstrate this. This is getting older, isn't it?

Just started watching #LegendOfFei with my groupwatch server! Two episodes in and it's loads of fun so far. I have missed watching Wang Yibo acting and I think I'm going to like Zhao Liying too. Plus bonus Geng Le! (LFSM in The Long Ballad.)

I can't decide whether I think it's a style choice or self-censorship (Chinese censorship is basically as prudish as an US pentecostal pastor on speed). A little bit of both, I guess. Pausing my Parallell World watch for Legend of Fei (by accident). I have to say; once you accept it's going to be a clunky production* it's rather good. I'm certainly getting my quota of Chinese men saying Poignant And Dramatic things. Less expected was how jarring it was to see Wang Yibo move his face after The Untamed (the feeling passes after a few eps.)

(*I've stumbled upon a few rumours around the production, and they've been interesting.)
