I could choose dozens of artists for this #TuneTuesday theme of #LegendaryGuitarWork but I'm going back to a musician's favourite: #GaryMoore
Many know his later blues work, but I grew up listening to his 80s hard rock albums. This song I choose has not 1, not 2, but 3 guitar solos, and a bass solo thrown in for good measure! Melodic soloing at its best and also some pyrotechnics (tame for Gary's standards) in the outro solo.

For Tune Tuesday, the first song that came to mind is Through the Fire and Flames by DragonForce. Though already known, when their song appeared on Guitar Hero 3, they became a global phenomenon. Watching Herman Li and Sam Totman play their guitars live is interesting, they sometimes have to play them as though they are keyboards! So fast. So furious. Legendary.

For me, it's gotta be Robert Fripp. Fripp wrote Fracture with the goal that he himself would find it difficult to play. It appeared first on 1974's Starless and Bible Black. The version here was recorded on the SaBB tour:
