Husband and I chatting and looking at early photos of our cats from 2003-2004. And remembering the Ricoh RDC-7 digital camera. 3 Megapixel. Cost us almost $2000 AU which was a feckload of an investment back then, but it was a bloody glorious camera. Kinda sad we don't have it any longer, but we ended up giving it to a friend who needed a digital camera for Uni a few years later. It used #SmartMedia as its camera card, which was always ironic given #Legato had a SmartMedia product at the time that was ... well, not the same.

The Turin Legato, at the end of the day, produces an excellent espresso. And there's no transition time, worry or steps between brewing and steaming, because it has a separate heating system for steam. PID, pressure gauge, overpressure adjustable, flow rate adjustable, timer, and more. For $500. Crazy. Our First Look is incoming. Meanwhile, here's an americano on the machine just yesterday (getting hot water from the machine is another matter). And some espresso.

It's been identified as a general characteristic of feminine speech. Vocal coaches call it legato articulation, and it's all about slowing down the transitions between phonetic segments!
