Just found that my accuser has a half dozen serious lawsuits including fraud they have lost and there's even an open lawsuit against them right now for some reason.
I need to raise a few hundred dollars for legal research so I can get ahold of the full legal record.

Anyone in my contacts know how difficult it is to set up / run a mutual aid fund? Thinking of starting one for the various local trans support groups, but I don't know how complex of a task I would be getting myself into. I would probably want 3-5 people doing work for it just to make sure funds are always quickly usable. I am not opposed to personally seeding it and paying for operating costs

Seems like a good time to make a plug for the Community Justice Collective.
Much like MDC, CJC works to protect and further progressive causes. They often pick up where MDC services end (and are sometimes the lawyers I'm working with at an action or when doing jail support).
They have been key in legal work following encampment evictions among other activities.

Does anyone know of the best way to find out links that could help an older autistic man in the East Sussex area (East Grindstead) with some legal issues? He's had many of his possessions sold without his consent and his brother has kept the money, as well as all the money from his late mother's estate.
