Because of critical strikes and called shots, a character’s good hand needs to be pre-established prior to any injury, especially the unfortunate amputation of one’s arm. Use the following table to establish the character’s dominant hand; or if the person is ambidextrousness which is common among excavators but only occurs about 1% of the time in NPCs. Today I noticed that the drain under the kitchen window was full of water. This meant that it was going to be my job to unblock it. Which i did. With my left hand. Without gloves.
This was a mistake. My bravado at being all manly and just getting it done means that my left hand now sticks if drains. I've washed it six times but I can still smell it. I've used all sorts of soaps and fragranced things, but the stink remains.

To my dear autistic community, I’m curious.
Do you have one strictly dominant hand? (Whether left or right). Are you ambidextrous, meaning you can use either hand for any activity equally well? Or are you mixed-handed, also known as having cross-dominance? Meaning you favour one hand for certain tasks and the opposite hand for others.
I grew up thinking I was some off-brand of ambidextrous, not having heard of cross-dominance until my late 20s. I write with my left but am naturally inclined to use my right for a lot of other tasks. It appears there may be a link between both left-handedness and ‘atypical handedness’ in general and being autistic. I also suspect I have undiagnosed dyspraxia which, who knows, may be connected.
My Mum, younger sister and I are all left-handed (as well as being ND) but I don’t actually know anyone that is mixed-handed.
Would you mind feeding my curious brain?

At the local stationery shop they had a special sale on some #German #Online #calligraphy #FountainPen sets with a range of #nibs. I tried the 1.4mm #StubNib, using the #LeftHanded #underwriting technique I've been practising, and the thickness of the strokes didn't vary much. When I switched back to my more natural #overwriting style, there was much more variation in the strokes. Not sure how to proceed from here... @fountainpens
