Seriously, one of the best movies I've ever seen. A group of N. Korean spies works undercover in SK waiting for a mission. One of the most highly trained lives as a village idiot. Great acting all around, but the 3 young leads are amazing. When the mission finally comes, their lives are turned upside down & so is the movie.

Physical comedy that leaves you gasping for air, then emotional scenes that cause tears to stream down your face, the writing is so smooth that it makes complete sense & carries you along for the ride. Kim Soo Hyun is a great comedic actor, but also an action star with great emotions. Uhm Tae Goo from "My Sweet Mobster" has a small part toward the end that he also nails.

If you want a funny, spy-filled, action-thriller with unexpected emotion, this is it!

A Good Day to Be a Dog (2023)

Cursed to be a (really cute) dog at night, the FL is totally believable as a dog. The ML's acting skills are improving. He did romantic & vulnerable (a fear of dogs) quite well. It's a cute, silly, tropey romcom, so the past life story didn't feel part of the current story. The resolution of past problems was anticlimactic.

The mystery of the curse & the push & pull of the romance with a love triangle is great, but it leads to a weak finish. There is some good comedy & the dogs are darling. There are holes in the fantasy lore that are annoying. Frex, you lose your clothes when you change into a dog & this humorous idea is repeated several times. But when you change back at the most critical time, you have your clothes?

Nice for a fun, simple watch, just don't get invested in the past life.
