I use #LeCreuset pans, and I'm not rich or upper class. I've gotten them discounted at TK Max, or second hand off eBay, or as presents over a period of more than 30 years.
The idea that you need to be rich to make an investment in good quality cookware is puerile.
Well cared for they'll out last me.
