  5. Disclaimer, I work for Catalyst-EU part of the Catalyst group. However one of the reasons I wanted to work for them was their commitment to Free Libre and Open Source software. This blog post explains their approach. I really don't like the graphic that has been used.

  7. Post at Moodle.org about gamifiction

"Duolingo’s goal isn’t to turn anyone bilingual, but to get the user to open the app tomorrow, and the day after, and the next... In the end, did it teach a language-or did it teach you not to lose the game? "

  8. ER Diagrams for 5.1

My 21 year /rest of life mission...

I have updated examulator.com/er to cover Moodle database structure for 5.1.

It includes information that is not contained in the source code, including table and field comments. It also includes links to useful queries at moodle.org. See this table examulator.com/er/output/table

If you scroll to the bottom of each page you will see an er diagram showing the relationships with other tables.

Here is a redrawing of a page from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons no 22, which I did as an exercise. The fabulous original is by Dan Mishkin, Jan Duursema and Rick Magyar.
    I learnt a lot!
