The results obtained by Xiaoping Chen et al. reveal a complex intersection of #LeafFunctionalTraits. For any given #LeafPhosphorus, #EvergreenSpecies have a higher #CarbonUseEfficiency than #DeciduousSpecies, but #PhotosyntheticNitrogenUseEfficiency is significantly higher in deciduous species compared with evergreen species.
