"A Well Respected Man" is a song by the English rock band #theKinks, written by the group's #leadSinger and #rhythmGuitarist #RayDavies, and originally released in the United Kingdom on the #EP #KwyetKinks in September 1965. It was also released as a single in the US and Continental Europe. Written as a satire on the British upper class, the song was inspired by Ray Davies's interest in #musicHall and scorn for wealthy tourists he encountered on a 1965 vacation.

It is AC/DC's first single with #BrianJohnson as the #leadSinger, replacing #BonScott who died of #alcoholPoisoning in February 1980. It reached number 35 on the US #Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart #in1980. The single was re-released internationally in 1986.

Hi! I call myself Oskar, or K. Oskar, am from Germany and self taught #bassist and #leadsinger of a, sometimes #gloomy, five-piece #postpunk #band called "Our Visit To The Moon".
