I leave in 7 days and my emotions are all over the place. I knew I'd have a rough time when this time finally came, but I did not think it would start this early and get stronger. I'm going to fall apart before I even get to Leader at this rate. #LDWren #Closure #FLD

One year ago today started the hardest week I ever had to go through and ended even worse. One year ago today I took my awesome girl, my Leader Dog Wren into the emergency room and dropped her off not knowing it would be the last time I saw her. By the 18th while in another country I made the even harder call after speaking with Leader as well to put her to sleep. I thought Friday the 18th was going to be hard, but I was wrong, today is definitely no better. I made plans to be with a friend on the 18th not thinking that today I’d also need that distraction. Whew, a long day this is going to be. #RIP #LDWren my wrennie the pooh!
