Had another great weekend hanging out with friends. Now it's back to work today. #LDMonte is glad once more to be home. At the moment, no other trip planned until June for choir where we head off to Chicago. So, onto my next personal matters. :)

March is now halfway over and yay, I'm back to my regular work schedule tomorrow. No more 5AM wake up time! However, #LDMonte won't like that his breakfast time is switching back to a hour later. There will be lots of loud grumbling from him tomorrow morning.

6 months and 1 day later I finally get to hear #LDMonte bark. Just because someone tells you a dog doesn't bite, it doesn't give you permisssion to then walk in their yard thinking you're going to pet sed dog. Totally stupid in my opinion. However, definitely curious on what Monte didn't like about the person to make him bark.

Tonights snow adventure with my evil evil dog #LDMonte I'm trading him in for a damn poodle, I swear! He finally got what he was after and managed to dump me in the snow, not once, but twice! Twice I tell you! First one, after he went to peee, he jumped up, spun around and dove between my legs catching me off guard! Second one, damn dog thought it was funny and we were playing and dumped me the second time when he pounced on me as I was trying to get up! Tail was wagging a zillion miles a minute the whole time. And, and, a few co-workers and para-strans-it drivers that were around were like, ha ha ha, you ok? Do you need help? my response, hush, I hear you laughing over there! Then my lovely dog had the nerve to snort at me when I finally got him out of the huge pile of snow that he was trying to dump me in for the third time while I was distracted! Poodle, I'm trading him in for a poodle that hates the snow!

Considering going to the #NFBConvention In Austin Texas this year. Have some #BlindCricket friends to meet up with. Depending on how work goes, :) It will also be the first flight with #LDMonte and curious to see what he thinks of flying.

Brrrrr, it's bloody cold out there. Thank goodness the only time I have to go out is when I have to take out the furface, #LDMonte to which I'm very glad right now he has no interest in sniffing around or playing in the snow like he usually does.

So, the other funny at work today besides the audio clip from Kalvin earlier. My awesome boy #LDMonte thought it would be amusing at our last break to try and bring the whole computer system with us. This included the keyboard, tower and 2 monitors! When I told him to stop that the computer was not allowed to come with us, he huffed at me like it was my fault!

How time flies. 4 months ago today I met my awesome, wonderful 65 pound golden lab cross, #LDMonte When I first got this boy he liked me, but I definitely wasn't his pal yet. Monte was like, nope, Stephanie is mine, where di she go? I want her back! But now, this crazy Leader Dog of mine that gallops around the house will have a cow if I'm not in his sight! I wouldn't have it any other way!

How you know you should have stayed home from work. 1, when you pick up another passenger and they smell like BO, sausage and some kind of soap, bleh! 2, you get to your desk thinking all is as you left it the night before just to painfully discover, oh no no no, things have changed. You lean forward to help your guide dog get situated as he likes under the desk just to knock your brains loose by sed desk that is waaaaay higher than it should be! Erm, WTH? 3, after you get your wits about you, you proceed to get sed dog under the desk that just tried to kill you just to have sed desk then try to choke your dog! Someone is not a happy camper! 4, you have now painfully discovered whuile attempting to unstrangle your dog that you now have those nice awesome, ***not*** electric desk that you can lower and raise. You curse sed people that forgot to tape the wires in place where they are suppose to be after you've unstrangled your dog and it gets better ladies and gentleman. You go to lower this murderous desk just for it to try and now squish the ppoor dog that has done nothing to it! At this time #lDMonte says screw you, I'm out of here and takes off! He is done with the desk and me and demands we go home. I believe I have to agree. When I call Monte back to me he sits at my chair and glares at the desk and refuses to go under the damn thing again. Do you blame him? Yes, welcome to Tuesday night where I definitely should have stayed home. lol. Where's that drink?

lol, definitely amused the call center tonight. Got up for lunch and when I reached for #LDMonte I discovered that erm, I forgot to put his harness back on after he had his dinner. The amusing part. Monte sat down, stared at me and let out a groan that could be heard by the people near me. I proceeded to smack myself in the head and mutter, duh stupid, can't work your dog without the harness, also loud enough to be heard by those around me. This got lots of chuckles from the call center floor.

lol, poor #LDMonte is in for a rough day. Not that it has worked since I got him, but he starts whining 1 hour before it's time to eat. Well, sadly for him his dinner time has been moved starting today to hopefully get him use to the new time before Monday. He's whining 2 hours early at the moment.

So, here's another funny story about my boy. There are loads of crickets around here and loud annoying ones that drive me absolutely crazy. Well, not long after Monte and I got home, I took him out to do his business and it was right near a loud cricket. The next thing I hear is this criket sounding like it's under water. Me, Monte, are you peeing on the criket?. . . .Wow, what an interesting sound. So each time I took Monte out after that i told him ok, lets go drown some more crickets! Well, since last night I discovered there's no more loud crickets around our house. I think they've all been scared away. It's #LDMonte the cricket killer, mahahahahaha!

Breaking news! I have discovewred that #LDMonte is my guide horse disguised as a dog. He absolutely loves to gallup! Like why walk or run when he can gallup?

Yay, #LDMonte is now a very happy boy. He has his crate. Definitely more room in it than the one he used during training. lol, had to keep pushing him out of the way while I set it up.

Definitely going to need to keep a huge stock of flavored bones for #LDMonte Those seem to be his favorites. He'll chew on the plain ones, but nothing like if they are flavored.

Can't believe that #LDMonte and I will be home a week already tomorrow. Guess I should stop catching up on sleep and like work with him around the area so he knows how to find home when we're out, lol
