It might be a losing battle, but I'm pondering what #LDJam #NewLD could do to sustain a "Compo-like" vibe. Game submission metadata: [ ] NO AI WAS USED to write code [ ] NO AI WAS USED to create visual content [ ] NO AI WAS USED to create audio content [ ] NO AI WAS USED to generate other data 🤔

I think that in every hackathon, in every game jam usage of AI, not "should", MUST be prohibited.

Imagine if someone decides to use doping during Olympics/other sports event. You will be mad because they won't be using their own skill to compete with others.

Even if we ignore the fact that all game jam entries made by AI or heavily AI assisted is nothing but a fucking slop it's just not fair to people who come here for a skill check, thing that game jams are for.
