Der Garten kommt bei dem ganzen Chaos natürlich mal wieder zu kurz.
Aber zum Glück habe ich ja #Gartencoach @rootsandcalluses mit ihrem #lazyGardening Ansatz, die für mich die dringendsten Aufgaben im Auge behält.Heute kümmern wir uns dann mal um die Jungpflanzen, nachdem die Direktsaat wohl eher Vögel füttern war. 😁

Harvested some more snow peas. The plants are slowly growing and producing just lying on the ground. I'm too lazy to build a trellis for just 4 plants. The premise of harvesting more frequently than 3 weeks time isn't motivating.

I’ve come in from harvesting all the last summer goodness from my garden ahead of our first big storm of the season:
a bountiful heap of basil, a handful of tiny purple & white eggplants, a few last zucchinis, a pile of cherry tomatoes, & all the butternuts and delicatas

I just broke off the dead branches, I didn't do any other pruning or training or support etc. I pulled out the occasional weed but mostly didn't bother with that either. I got to roughly half of the currant bushes (red and black). There are many in the backyard, probably over 30, but not all are still alive.
The poor things were so neglected!
I don't know what I'm doing, I have no money, no tools, just my bare hands, but I did something and doing something is better than nothing. I think I gave some of the bushes that were dying a chanche to survive and helped others thrive.
I also saw some young currant plants that had clearly self-seeded and were volunteering! 😀🌱♥️
