Day 12 of My Games: Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece
This is yet another incredible creation from #BlooberTeam. Among many other games, they made the Silent Hill game franchise, the A-Men games, and Blair Witch. A+ horror right here, I'm telling you.
I love everything that Bloober Team does, but this game is my absolute favorite thing in the world. The first one, specifically. The second one was also good, of course, but nothing caught my attention like the story of the first game. Now I've moved on to Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece. It's the perfect thing to wrap up these great stories. We have the Artist (1), the Actor (2), and now the Writer (3). We revisit the tales of the first and second games in this one, replaying the stories, seeing new scenes, finally hearing the Artists's wife's POV, getting new puzzles to solve, new DLC content, right along with an *all-new* story about a writer documenting their lives while working at a (terrifying and possibly haunted) lighthouse. I only started this third game last week, and I'm thrilled. I didn't have the time before then. The visuals are stunning and the music brought me right back.
Also, on a totally random note, the man who voices the Artist has no right to sound as sexy as he does with that deep voice of his while talking about the horrendous things he went on to do after his wife died. It's so unfair.

Layers of Fear ist ein durchaus gruseliges Horrorspiel, fasziniert aber vor allem durch optische Kreativität und die oft unglaublichen Wendungen in der Spielumgebung. Im Prinzip bin ich zwar hie und da erschrocken, ansonsten aber primär mit offenem Mund staunend durch immer bizarrere Räumlichkeiten gelaufen, von einer Überraschung in die nächste stolpernd. IMHO beste Gruselunterhaltung.
