What the heck Martha Stewart?

What you do if you see a snake hole in your yard is you leave it the fuck alone!

Snakes are ordinary and there SHOULD be some in your yard. They are especially helpful with rodent control.

I suppose there are some edge cases (huge infestations, poisonous, etc.) where you'd need to do something, but seeing a snake hole -- including near where your kids play -- does not matter in most lawns.

I'll give the article just a bit of credit -- it does say snakes are often fine to leave alone. But the title is clickbait, the mood is fearful, and the recommendations are to watch the hole carefully and call a professional. Yeah -- cause we all have time for that.

I don't recommend clicking through -- the opt-outs on tracking took me a few dozen clicks. It was crazy.
