I'm a quantitative social scientist doing work in the fields of #sociology, #criminology, and #lawandsociety (#lsa). My research examines issues including #privateprisons, the role of #police, and public discourse on #firearms. I'm an Associate Professor of Sociology in the School of Public Policy at #OregonStateUniversity. I've very much enjoyed the #socialscience migration to Mastodon so far; hoping #soccer and #surfing soon follow.

I jump on the #introduction train. I am professor of #internationallaw at the #university of #Lausanne.
