However—minor spoilers if you're aiming to go in fresh—there's not really a role for viewer-as-player.

We know who the traitors are from the start, so it's really just about observing the drama, rather than trying to figure things out for ourselves.

The challenges seem a little pointless too. They're in vs. teams but there's no sabotage (a la De Mol). Mostly designed for TV spectacle.

Haven't seen Dutch or Australian versions. And I heard that they filmed the US version alongside the UK one. My fav thing about these shows is watching all of them to compare design and gameplay strategy, so that'll be fun!

This seems like a fun show that plays with some Werewolf elements. 20 players, 3 traitors. They all work together (ie, no sabotage) to earn money. Each night, the traitors 'kill' someone, each day, the group ('faithful') vote someone out of the village.

Enjoyed this a lot. In a near-future world without pain or infection, what is intimacy, art, change?

It has familiar Cronenberg elements I love: bespoke organic machinery, human evolution, drifting dreamlike eroticism, body-technology ports, beautiful decay of run-down buildings.

And the way he understands/frames physicality and pain means the fleshy stuff doesn't bother me.
