We should not be fooled into spreading the narrative that ICE is an immigration enforcement agency. It's a Keep This Country White agency.
When we say “immigrants” when we mean “Latinos” (or #LatinX, #Latine) we are playing their game.

I don't think there's a great answer for this. I've used #LatinX, #Latine, and #Latin. But I am reverting back to #Latino as that is the overwhelmingly recognized name by the people in those cages—male, female, and non-binary persons.
I think you should also just pick one and stick with it. I won't tell you what to use. Ultimately, getting dragged on the internet every once in a while for using the "wrong" term is a small price to pay imo.

Starting yesterday, the ever-present and usually completely ignorable #ads were at least 50% replaced by #DHS ads featuring #KristiNoem in poorly dubbed #Spanish, telling people to #SelfDeport. As obscenely evil as this is, being directed at #DocumentedImmigrants as much as #Undocumented, I took pleasure in the stupid waste of money it is. How many blue collar #Latine immigrants play #Scrabble ?
