Today I hiked above Welschnofen / Nova Levante, up to Taltbichl (Montalto di Nova). The Latemar massif dominated the view, with snow still lining the upper rock faces.

Was schön war. Die Wanderung zum und um den Karer See. Der liegt am #Latemar in den Südtiroler #Alpen und hier in #Italien lässt dich gut #Urlaub machen.
Und ja, die Farben sind wirklich so.

Today we had our Institute #Klausur (i.e. retreat), and were discussing nice topics regarding #ScientificCareers

To relax, we took a short hike with prominent #Dolomites sceneries: #Latemar massif and #KarerSee (#carezza).

Final day of #hiking in the #Dolomites 😢. This time in the #Latemar group. A slightly different feeling because instead of wide views over the lower land, you are constantly enclosed by jagged walls and towers. Some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen so far.
