After the Sacramento Gold Miners joined the Canadian Football League in 1993 and despite some scepticism and opposition, the league sought to grow its footprint in the United States with additional teams in 1994 and 1995. After the Posse folded during their ill-fated single season in the @[email protected]'s American expansion, the @TorontoArgos picked up Kelly in the dispersal draft - and he later spent time with the @BCLions and @Wpg_BlueBombers. Intercepted 18 passes for 233 yards during career. Down south, played 2 seasons with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks.

Before playing for an American team, Darrell was with #WinnipegBlueBombers, #HamiltonTigerCats, & #EdmontonEskimos, appearing in three #GreyCup games in '89, '92 and '93. Highlights include recovering a blocked punt for a touchdown on his birthday in Winnipeg '92. His brother Tyrone Corbin played in the #NBA and is now a coaching assistant.
