My zastanawiamy się, czy AI zabierze nam pracę, a oni liczą zyski. Rok 2025 był dla gigantów z Doliny Krzemowej absolutnie rekordowy.
Elon Musk przebił barierę, która wydawała się nieosiągalna, a Nvidia stała się cenniejsza niż gospodarka Japonii.
Według danych Bloomberga, na które powołuje się The Guardian, boom na sztuczną inteligencję przyniósł dziesięciu najbogatszym ludziom technologii dodatkowe pół biliona dolarów (500 mld USD) tylko w ciągu ostatnich 12 miesięcy. Łączny majątek tej elitarnej grupy spuchł do 2,5 biliona dolarów.
Musk: pierwszy w klubie „500+”
Największym wygranym jest bezapelacyjnie Elon Musk. Jego majątek wzrósł rok do roku o blisko 50%, osiągając w grudniu 2025 roku niewyobrażalny poziom 645 miliardów dolarów. Tym samym Musk został pierwszym człowiekiem w historii, którego majątek netto przekroczył pół biliona.
Skąd ten wzrost? To kombinacja sukcesów Tesli (i jej celów finansowych) oraz wyceny xAI – jego firmy zajmującej się sztuczną inteligencją. Jeśli tak dalej pójdzie, Musk wkrótce zostanie pierwszym bilionerem (w amerykańskim rozumieniu trillionaire).
Sprzedawcy łopat w gorączce złota
Na liście zwycięzców nie mogło zabraknąć Jensena Huanga, szefa Nvidii. Jego osobisty majątek wzrósł o blisko 42 mld dolarów (do 159 mld USD). Sama Nvidia w październiku stała się pierwszą firmą w historii wycenianą na 5 bilionów dolarów. Dla skali: to więcej niż wynosi PKB całej Japonii czy Indii. Huang, widząc co się dzieje, postanowił zresztą spieniężyć sukces, sprzedając w tym roku akcje o wartości miliarda dolarów.
Zyskali też założyciele Google’a. Larry Page i Sergey Brin, dzięki postępom w Gemini i własnych chipach TPU, wzbogacili się odpowiednio o 102 i 92 miliardy dolarów.
Czy ta bańka pęknie?
Te astronomiczne wyceny budzą jednak niepokój ekonomistów. Bank Anglii ostrzega przed „nagłą korektą”. Wyceny spółek technologicznych są „napięte” i opierają się na optymistycznych założeniach, że AI zmieni świat natychmiastowo. Jeśli entuzjazm inwestorów ostygnie, rok 2026 może przynieść bolesne spadki.
Ale póki co, w Dolinie Krzemowej szampan (i pieniądze) leje się strumieniami.
