    For the record, and as far as I've found out, #AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 chips (present in the most recent @frameworkcomputer #Laptop13, for example) dont support #BluetoothLE.

    Which is a pity and turned my so promising synth-geeking-lunch-break into a exhausting-forum-search-session-to-fix-something-that-couldn't-be-fixed.

    Ouf, on peut faire quelque chose! Dans les paramètres d'affichage on trouve une option qui permet d'activer les options d'échelle fractionnelle. À priori avec le réglage à 150% c'est plutôt pas mal, le 125% pourrait être bien aussi si j'étais plus jeune, mais avec ma presbytie galopante, ce n'est peut-être pas le top pour moi.

    Par défaut, Linux Mint règle "Échelle d'interface de base" à 200%, ce qui donne un affichage un peu gigantesque dont je ne suis pas trop fan. Ça donne l'impression d'avoir un écran basse résolution.

    Bon, et bien c'est déjà fini. Je n'ai plus qu'à installer une Mint et ce petit bijou deviendra officiellement ma nouvelle bécane, et ça, pour un bon moment, vu la réparabilité de la machine. Le démarrage sur la clé USB (oui j'ai toujours une clé d'installation sur mon porte-clés) s'est fait tout seul, sans avoir à passer par le BIOS.

    Rendez-vous dans les prochaines heures ou les prochains jours pour mes premiers retours concernant l'utilisation de la bête.

    Il y a 4 ports d'extension, donc. Perso, j'en ai acheté 7: 2 USB C, 2 USB A, 1 HDMI, 1 lecteur microSD, et un jack (qui est en fait une carte son supplémentaire vendue pour être de meilleur qualité que celle intégrée à la carte mère.

    Et donc si vous ne connaissez pas Framework et ses ordinateurs, vous vous demandez peut-être ce que sont les 4 creux bizarres que l'on peut voir sur les côtés. Ce sont des emplacements pour y mettre les extensions de son choix, des ports de connexion (USB C, USB A, HDMI, jack, lecteur de carte mémoire...) ou même du stockage supplémentaire.

    Je commence par la RAM. Je n'ai qu'une (grosse) barrette pour l'instant (au cas où je voudrais en rajouter pour créer un concurrent de OpenAI sur mon portable). Il faut la mettre sur la gauche (le channel 0) et pas sur la droite comme on le voit dans la vidéo proposée par Framework.

The DeepComputing RISC-V motherboard will use a #StarFive #JH7110 with four U74 RISC-V cores. The JH7710 SoC does have upstream #LinuxKernel support!
