Nice jam session a few years ago at our house. The Undead Syncopators with Shakin' Casi on stand-up bass and Frankie Melody on lap steel guitar on a Thursday evening. You could see it live for a short time.
A super bad cell phone recording and yet 1000 times better than any AI song. #music #reverendelvis #jam #guitar #jamsession #country #lapsteel #live -
Fairly recent kind of loose/improv spy music instrumental thing, more of a groove than a song. Featuring some twangy guitar, lap steel and some beats.
Came out sounding a bit Portishead.
I’m available for soundtrack work!

I love playing on my lapsteels I have 3 of them tuned differently and 2 with resonator cone (spider and single biscuit) most of my musical instruments are among the few newly purchased things here at home.
Exquisite playlist!
Unfortunately I can only look at it because Spotify wants me to log in there. However, I don't normally listen to music on online services but prefer to listen to records, music cassettes, CDs, the good old radio and in my favorite jazz club and various pubs, so there is no reason for me to give them my data. Surely you also have some of the Cowboy Junkies' first albums on your playlist?
I can highly recommend them :)

Quick post as I went out hiking today & it's almost wine o'clock. If you need a serene Sunday soundtrack then I highly recommend sinking into this one take moment of ambient magic from the ever reliable Lake Mary & his lapsteel, who was obviously vibing with the multi-talented filmaker Pinyonpine wielding his wooden synths. Cheers.

So here’s what I’m thinking:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=l3lV57t8QVE&feature=shares
Music people, any thoughts on this setup? I know it’s not the same as a real pedal steel but (1) I can’t play either one yet anyway and (2) I can’t find a pedal steel anywhere for less than $1200.

#Introduction Howdy All!
I paint with my ears. I'm obsessed with sound. I make music, collaborate, organize concerts, make videos, do voice overs, and run sound and video streams for various organizations. In my spare time, when I'm not doom scrolling about Russia, I bake bread, I'm nice to cats, and I study Czech. In my former life I built and sold software
