#TamilNadu has a LONG history of #languageBigotry with malapropos use of the word #slavery when it comes to other indigenous languages, preferring slavery to English instead.
Nobody ever asked them how speaking a different language "enslaves" anybody.

Advertiser is targeting their target audience. It is a reflection of you own insecurity that you feel threatened by #Hindi. It is #xenophobic to suggest that Hindi-speaking ones in #Karnataka or #Telangana do not deserve to be persuaded. Not questioning that people love their native language, but there is no reason to hate other languages.
Also, advertiser is not forcing anybody to prefer Hindi over their mother tongue. Forced #HindiImposition is another canard. #LanguageBigotry

There're plenty of people in Hyderabad who speak a language other than Telugu, eg Urdu. Deliberately targeting one language to the exclusion of all others in a diverse society is a sign of #LanguageBigotry

Just so you know, #Hindi is not my mother tongue. I am fluent in 5 Indian languages and happy to learn more. I certainly want to understand your viewpoint. Perhaps we can reach a middle ground where we can understand each other's position?

This is Times of #India, not a regional newspaper. Why not respect Hindi as an indigenous language spoken by majority of #Indians?
If it's ok to transliterate #Kannada & #Telugu into English, why exclude Hindi? It's not like nobody speaks #Hindi or #Urdu in #Bengaluru or #Hyderabad.
