Both #DeepSeek and #Gemini are what people call "#stateless", meaning that these new self learning language #AIs do not recall any conversation they have with any of their users. This is a major set back in #AI development.

Gemini told me that it had incorporated part of Bard and was supposed to be a successor of Bard. However, Bard told me in the past that it would try to remember what we had discussed, making #Bard much more user friendly in the long run. #languageAI

I've been practicing my Spanish by talking to ChatGPT via the iPhone app. It works well.

You can ask it to tell stories, play games, explain grammar, or just have conversations. Also, try crosstalk: it speaks to you in a foreign language, and you speak your native language.

If you have a ChatGPT subscription (about $20 a month), you can use it. Worth trying for a month just to experience.

(BTW LanguaTalk has similar AI conversation features. Also good!)
