The conditions really were stunning on Pike O'Blisco last Saturday - a little too bright for some colour shots but perfect for some high contrast black and white.

Upland #Archaeology is paradoxical - least accessible at times due to rough terrain and distance away from where most people live but at times the most legible due to better preservation.
I was lucky to visit Lingmoor Fell in the #LakeDistrict where drystone bothies & stores still stand which were used by 19th / 20th century slate quarry workers.
In one case the #stone roof remains intact.
