    ESA"s (European Space Agency) Sentinel 3 records the temperature of the land surface (not the air) using its SLSTR (Sea and Land Surface Temperature Radiometer) and I'll be frank the images are both incredible and little frightening!

    Thank heavens ESA have been putting useful satellites over the Earth!
