Yesterday, I got the front entry bed prepped for planting next year. I tilled, spread on an inch of soil conditioner, put down a layer of cardboard, another inch of soil conditioner, and then finished with pine straw.

I got the shrubs in the front entry area out on Saturday. I transplanted the loropetalum, tea olive, and hydrangeas. Intentionally disposed of the spiraea. The camellia was too big to get out without severe root damage.
