  1. Today is the last day of my summer vacation. I used the time to do another linocut :) I have a foto of me with my little sister when we were kids, and we were standing in a poppy field. This linocut is inspired by the foto, but with me and my sis as young adults :)

  3. The ink bleeds softly into silk, where layered washes build misted mountains above a cluster of tiled roofs. This 17th-century hand scroll compresses distance into quiet geometry—each stroke a measured breath of space.

Um 1875, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art

  6. Thick, horizontal strokes of muted green and gray blur the line between water and sky, dissolving the horizon under a wet sheen. The absence of figures sharpens the focus on the weight of rain pressing down, turning the scene into a study of atmosphere over place. Which detail first betrays the artist’s hand—the trembling reflection or the stubborn solidity of the trees?

Gradually, these mental images came together until a complete vision emerged, resulting in the painting, 'The River of Life' above. (Oil on canvas. H900mm x 1080mm). The painting is symbolic of that ongoing transformation and reflects the abundant life Christ came to give me—spirit, soul, and body—here […]
